What would you do if I told you that you could walk into a famous casino and that it didn’t matter what games you played but that I promised you would walk out of there a rich person?
You would rush right into that casino and you would play every game. It wouldn’t matter if you lost at some because you knew that in the end you would walk out a so much richer.
Think about the similarities of that with your life for a minute.You rushed into this life because your spirit knew that you were going to have a great adventure. Every day of your past you won and every day you are here you keep on winning.
“How could that be?” You ask. “I have had great losses. I have had great setbacks. I have experienced great sadness.” Of course you have. You have lived. You have experienced. You have learned. You have grown. You have helped by giving great advice only because you suffered. You helped someone who was hurt because you know hurt.
You also learned the joy of pleasure, the beauty of art and music. You tasted great food and cool water. You fell in love with nature. A kitten, a puppy, a baby made you smile. You laughed at yourself. You laughed at life.
Yes, every day you lived, you won and you continue to win. Every day you won and continue to win a bit of knowledge, a bit of wisdom, a bit of understanding. Most days you find hope, you find joy and every day you find exactly what you are thinking about most.
When the time comes, you will leave here richer than you could imagine. In the meantime, play every game, smile at every circumstance and very be thankful for your winnings.
