Passion-The Missing Link

April 26th, 2010

You can wish all you want and not get it. You can write it down a thousand times and not manifest it. Are you a creative failure? No, not now not ever. You are one of the world’s best creators. Look at those times when everything looked like it was destined to go in one direction but you turned it around. Take a look at some of the miracles in your life. You were an integral part of those.
You can’t create what you want all of the time because of one thing. Lack of passion. Passion is the most important part of creating. If you are passionate about getting something or passionate about not getting something, you will manifest both. When you fire up a thought with passion, it happens! Set fire to a very important piece of paper and an unimportant piece of paper and they will both flare up and be reduced to ashes. The fire doesn’t discriminate. Neither does creation. It creates what you are passionate about.
You have one of the greatest gifts in the universe, the power of passion. With it you can create anything. Without it there is only despair. Fire up your passion and guide it well.

Possible!

April 19th, 2010

On May 29, 1953 Edmund Hillary and Sherpa guide Tenzing Norgay became the very first people to make it to the top of Mt. Everest. An “impossible” feat made possible and because it was now possible instead of impossible, in the last 55 years 2,700 people have made it to the top, many of them more than once.
Ask yourself “What do I think is impossible for me?” Do a little research and find out if anyone anywhere has done it and if they did, you can. If your search turns up no one than you are incredibly lucky because you get to be the first. Remember that everything is impossible until some one does it. There is nothing that is permanently impossible. There are just a few things waiting for someone to do them.
Maybe your Mt. Everest is financial or maybe it’s health related or maybe it’s about a relationship or a fear. Whatever it is just remember that it’s only temporarily impossible. The true definition of impossible is that which happens when you stop trying.
Keep going. Keep putting one foot in front of the other. Keep focusing on the next step and not all of the steps. Keep climbing and you will make it possible.

Worthquake

April 12th, 2010

An earthquake can be devastating, destroying in a moment things that took years to build. After all of the crying, the cleaning up, the healing, everything is rebuilt but this time much stronger. There is still moments of sadness and scars upon the heart but life goes on and strength is found.
A worthquake is even more devastating than an earthquake because you are alone in your suffering. There is no outpouring of help from around the world. There is just you and the pain. Worthquakes strike every life and most come very unexpectedly. Your self worth is damaged as badly as a building that is reduced to rubble. There is crying and sadness but there is also the beginning of healing. It is unnoticed at first but it starts with the first tear. There is no red cross that shows up but there are Angels from Heaven. There’s nothing in the newspapers but there’s a poem or song or saying that somehow speaks to you. One day it dawns on you that the cleanup is done and the healing is almost complete. You also realize that you haven’t taken inventory lately and when you do you find that everything is stronger. Everything is brighter. Everything is good. And it is.

Carrying Over From Yesterday

April 5th, 2010

If you take a little bit of the yogurt that you had yesterday and put it in some fresh milk today, with proper cooking you will have more of exactly the same yogurt that you had yesterday. Just like the yogurt, whatever part of yesterday that you bring into today will bring exactly the same feelings and emotions that it did yesterday. Are you carrying love and joy over from yesterday? Prepare yourself for more. Are you bringing worry and resentment over from yesterday? Prepare for more.
Today will have its own challenges and joys. Is what you are bringing from yesterday adding to the challenges or the joy? Choose wisely.
